We understand that the decision to have cosmetic surgery is exciting and life changing. We want to help you feel comfortable and confident. If you are interested in exploring our services or procedures, we can assist you through the following process:
Step 1
The first step is to contact our office at (306) 954-5600 to book a complimentary consultation with our plastic surgery patient care coordinator, Brittany. Brittany can discuss your goals and desired results, and answer any questions you may have about the procedures, recovery, and cost. You do not need a referral from a doctor to make this appointment.
For any of our non-surgical procedures, Brittany can discuss your goals and book you an appointment to see Dr. Thomson to complete the service
Step 2
For any surgical procedures, you will have a consult appointment with Dr. Thomson to discuss your aesthetic goals. This consultation fee is $150 and is non refundable. The fee is applied to the cost of your surgical procedure, should you decide to proceed.
Please bring your provincial health card and a list of any medications you are taking to this meeting.
Step 3
Your surgery will be performed, usually within two months, in a private, state-of-the art surgical centre. The centre’s friendly, professional staff has created an environment that is both highly efficient and caring.
Dr. Thomson will meet with you on the day of your surgery before you go to the operating room. After the surgery, you will wake up in the recovery area and be discharged once you are stable and able to follow instructions.
Dr. Thomson will usually see you again in the morning, so if you are from out of town you will need to spend the night in a hotel. You will require someone to stay with you overnight. We would be pleased to recommend a suitable hotel should you require it, and there are several options within blocks of our office and surgical centre. We have negotiated a preferential rate with The James Hotel which is located within 1 block of our office and surgical centre. To obtain this rate, please call the hotel directly at 1 (855) 244-6446 and ask for the rate under Dr. Chris Thomson Plastic Surgeon, or simply call Brittany at our office to obtain the code required for online hotel booking.
Follow up appointments will be arranged for you in the weeks to come. After that, you are welcome to return at any time.
